Welcome to my website! My name is Heather Kirby, and I am a registered dietitian passionate about helping others achieve optimal health through intuitive eating.

Growing up on a cattle ranch in Colorado, I developed a deep appreciation for wholesome meals and the impact they have on our well-being. My interest in nutrition began at a young age when I would help my mother and grandmother prepare meals for the hardworking individuals on our ranch. However, it was my grandmother's diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease that sparked my curiosity about the role of nutrition in disease prevention.

In 2010, I became a registered dietitian after completing my bachelor’s degree in food science and human nutrition at Colorado State University followed by a dietetic internship through the University of Delaware distance program. I then completed a master’s degree in healthcare administration from Colorado State University Global Campus.

Throughout my journey to becoming a registered dietitian, I fell into the trap of diet culture, constantly striving for an unattainable body size. It was not until I discovered the power of intuitive eating and listening to my body that I found true joy and peace with food. I realized that there is so much more to life than obsessing over body weight and restrictive diets.

Now, I am dedicated to helping others break free from the diet culture mindset and develop a healthy relationship with food. I believe in the principles of Health at Every Size (HAES) and empowering individuals to honor their body's unique needs and desires.

By embracing intuitive eating and being present in the moment, we can find true enjoyment and fulfillment in life. I am excited to share my knowledge and expertise with you on this journey towards a balanced and nourished life.

Together, let's discover the joy of food and embrace a sustainable approach to health.
